Overview: We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Service Technician to join our dynamic team.   Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in commercial and industrial buildings, including start-up duties such as installing and programming field controllers, wiring and controls, sensors, thermostats, rooftop units, valves, actuators, chillers, boilers, and other HVAC control equipment.

• Install, clean, adjust, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance activities, as well as warranty services.

• Travel to different businesses throughout the day to service HVAC systems.

• Conduct performance tests using specialized tools, adjust system settings, and identify maintenance risks on equipment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

• Discuss various options with clients regarding heating and cooling systems.

• Process and complete work orders promptly and accurately.

• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime for clients.

• Ensure compliance with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.

• Maintain compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.

• Enter detailed notes on all invoices in the Service Project Management Application to maintain accurate records.

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC vocational training or apprenticeship program preferred.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, with proven experience in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems.

• EPA Universal and OSHA 30

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including but not limited to HVAC controls, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• EPA Universal certification for handling refrigerants.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
