Summary of Responsibilities:

This position is for a 10-week Summer Internship. The Operations Strategy Intern will support within One Operations team.

This 2025 Summer Internship is for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and May 2026.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports operations strategy and analytics projects that have a high level of complexity and visibility/impact across the organization.

  • Assists in development of governance artifacts and presentations and maintains an understanding of overall business functions with in-depth knowledge of specific areas/functions and related activities as it relates to the operations strategic initiatives and innovations (i.e. automation, data mining and analytics, AI).

  • Provides support for the performance monitoring, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis processes for piloted and/or deployed strategic initiatives across US operations.

  • Provides support in development of business goals and objectives to leverage use of data and simplify processes.

Desired skills / Willingness to develop:

  • General understanding and curiosity of Data Mining techniques including emerging AI and Machine Learning technologies (technical expertise is not explicitly needed, but preferred)

  • Operations associated with Banking and Finance sector (auto lending, banking, and consumer finance)

  • Basic financial modeling skill, ability to craft a business case and conduct business prioritization.

  • Exception presentation skills, Ability to research, analyze, document, and present processes, performance metrics, governance and risk analysis that drive business decisions.

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.

  • Proficiency in Data Mining and Visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skill, specifically power point and excel.

  • Process improvement and data driven root cause knowledge/skill/experience

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between Fall 2025 - Spring 2026

  • Major in Business/Finance/Economics/Marketing, or Computer Science/Information Systems with a focus in Business

  • A cumulative GPA or 3.0 or above

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills

  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong critical thinking skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced market environment

  • Solid professional and personal work ethic

  • Ability to work independently on special projects

  • Ability to work in an environment that supports employees from all backgrounds and fosters an environment of inclusion.

Working Conditions:

  • Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.

  • Travel to multiple facilities may be required.

  • May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.

  • May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.

  • May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.

  • Corporate / satellite office role.

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $52,000 - $52,000/year

Primary Location: Dallas, TX, Dallas

Other Locations: Texas-Dallas,Rhode Island-East Providence
