Development Assistant (Temporary)

Dallas - Hospital

Monday - Friday

8:00am -4:30pm

Job Description:

​Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assists the Development Department with any administrative tasks

  • Prepares donation documentation for donor acknowledgments

  • Research returned mail

  • Adds notes and additional actions into RE database regarding donor updates

  • Serves as backup for Donor Relations Clerks

    Required Skills/Abilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum 4 years of comprehensive database entry experience preferred

  • Raiser’s Edge Database experience preferred

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet research

  • Polished telephone, interpersonal and writing skills

  • Minimum typing speed 60wpm and 10-key by touch proficiency required

  • Working conditions: Inside

  • Working Position: Sitting, Standing, Walking

  • Physical Demands: Light

  • Physical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying

  • An Individual in this position will be required to list or carry weight in this group: Up to 10lbs

  • Sensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Hearing, Seeing, Speaking

  • An Individual in this position will be exposed to: Inside environment
