The Office of Admissions is seeking a higher education professional with experience in prospective student recruitment, outreach, and support as well as strategic recruitment and admission planning to fill our Director, Visitor Center position. The Director of the Visitor Center provides management, leadership, support, and coordination for UT Dallas’ Office of Admissions, specifically related to the University’s Visitor Center operations and prospective student events. Primary responsibilities include development and implementation of the undergraduate campus visit experience, recruiting events, and prospective student support. This position will communicate regularly with leaders across campus to ensure the department’s efforts support university-wide application, admission, and enrollment goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree and ten years of related progressive work experience

  • Experience overseeing, managing, or coordinating visitor center services and events for prospective students, high school counselors, college advisors, and other special populations and educational partners

  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Hyland OnBase, Salesforce CRM , or comparable software platforms

  • Supervisory experience
