Facilities Maintenance Technician - Dallas, Tx

Job Description

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance work across various facilities including a fitness center, spa, hotel, and clinic. The role involves lighting, painting, general maintenance tasks, and contributing to a positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance tasks in the fitness center, spa, hotel, and clinic.

  • Conduct lighting and painting work.

  • Handle general maintenance and repair tasks.

  • Maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry.

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.

  • Clean pools and other facility areas.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.

Essential Skills

  • At least 5 years of recent facilities maintenance experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial painter.

  • Proficiency in painting, drywall, tile laying, and lighting maintenance.

  • Experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, and carpentry.

  • Ability to use hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hotel setting performing facilities maintenance is a plus.

$20/hour

First shift 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday

Work Environment

You will work across various facilities including outdoor repairs, fitness centers, spas, and buildings. Training will be provided on the first shift for about a month, working Monday to Friday. The position is initially a 4-month contract with the possibility of hire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coppell, Texas.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
