About the Role:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Business Systems Analyst II who is a solution oriented, and a customer service driven individual. You will analyze and solve operational, administrative, systems-related, and/or customer issues with and for department management and staff.
You Will:
Oversee software and hardware management for the department including purchasing, inventory tracking/reporting, vendor management, and partnering with other departments for asset management compliance.
Provide operational support for BigTex high performance computing environment including user support, operational support, compliance and vendor management.
Serve as a technical consultant on the department SharePoint presence and a backup for maintaining the site.
Investigate, review, make recommendations and implement new technologies for the department by collaborating with the district and across the System.
Review and recommend AWS (or other cloud provider) services that can benefit the department.
Provide Information Security and Audit compliance for IT for the department.
Regularly engage with department researchers on their active work and look for opportunities to improve workflows.
Create and maintain department training, documentation and procedures for technology.
Partner with FRB Dallas IT, other Federal Reserve Banks, and centralized IT to represent the needs of the research community.
Provide consultation on software usage and program configuration for analytic tools.
You Have:
Requires a bachelors degree in business, economics, MIS, computer science, or equivalent. Masters degree a plus.
3 years' experience as Business Analyst or equivalent. Business Analyst certification may be substituted.
Ability to analyze business problems to produce business process design.
Knowledge of software development methodologies as they relate to the business requirements and testing processes.
Demonstrated skill with MS Office technologies, including one or more of the following: SharePoint, MS Access and MS SQL Server query writing.
Proficient with MS Office applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to present analysis to management and staff and for preparation of clear concise documentation, analysis and status reports.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
