Team Description

The Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management team performs operational audits, has extensive purview over the Sarbanes Oxley testing program, and oversees the Enterprise Risk Management processes for SABRE Corporation. The function is part of SABRE Corporation’s broader Finance team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer administratively and to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors functionally. Our vision is to proactively guide our Sabre business partners with innovative, best in class audit and risk management practices. Our strategy focuses on 1) talent development, 2) modernization of our audit and risk activities, 3) providing a balanced portfolio of work which provides assurance and advisory services to SABRE, and 4) being a trusted advisor to management and the Board of Directors.

The Role:

As an Internal Auditor, you are an individual contributor on a team of audit professionals who work together to deliver operational audits in a technology environment. This role is based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metro area and reports to the Operations Audit Manager in a flexible hybrid role.

In this role, you can expect to work on operational audits and special projects as described below.

  1. 75% - Operational Audits (Technical Skills)

a. Demonstrates an understanding of the principles of the identification, assessment, and management of risk and can assist in risk assessment, including the identification of risk and assessment of the control design.

b. Identifies and uses appropriate methods to gain an understanding of the area or topic under review.

c. Demonstrates the ability to understand audit objectives and relevant risks.

d. Provides valuable input during risk and control evaluation and the design of complex test plans.

e. Executes assigned test plans.

f. Demonstrates basic awareness about judgmental or statistical sampling techniques.

g. Performs simple analysis using available tools to evaluate data and extract insight.

h. Displays awareness of various techniques to find the root cause of an issue.

i. Delivers clear and sufficient evidence to support testing, observations, conclusions, and recommendations.

j. Prepares findings for reports to specified standards, including format and style, with minimal editorial changes.

k. Provides clear and sufficient evidence to support recommendations.

l. Demonstrates the ability to manage their individual workload and successfully deliver assignments to the expected quality within the agreed timeframes.

m. Demonstrates a basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

n. Assists with identifying improvement opportunities in business processes during audit engagements.

o. Considers the fundamental principles, operations, and strategic objectives of Sabre to ensure the relevance and appropriateness of audit findings.

p. Demonstrates a basic understanding of IT fundamentals.

q. Shows an aptitude for learning Sabre's technology environment and how it supports business operations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Four-year college degree

· A minimum of two-four years of experience

· Knowledge of auditing practices and standards, trends, and best practices

· Awareness of internal control frameworks such as COSO, NIST (National

Institute of Standards and Technology), COBIT, etc.

· Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, including internationally

Not required, but preference given to candidates with:

· Internal Audit experience in the technology industry

· An active certification or license as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or other relevant certification

Experience in data analytics
