As a Senior Partner Sales Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS), Automotive and Manufacturing Business Unit, you will have the exciting opportunity to create and execute a partner sales strategy. You will be working through and with AWS Partners (System Integrators, Technology Partners, Business Consulting Partners), to build mind share and adoption of Amazon’s 200+ services across AWS’s most strategic customers.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong channel or partner sales background, with a proven track record of deep expertise in enterprise IT transformation. Which includes extensive knowledge of Automotive and Manufacturing workloads. They will possess a business background that enables them to engage at the CxO level and to easily interact with partners, enterprise customers and global account managers. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Basic Qualifications

Extensive experience working for/with Consulting 5+ years experience with Partners or System Integrators to drive strong customer outcomes and new sales growth.

5+ years experience working in the Automotive and/or Manufacturing industry in a sales, business development or partner capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience with SaaS solutions, IT sales, datacenter sales, and/or cloud adoption.

Deep knowledge and experience working with Automotive and/or Manufacturing partner (ISVs, G/SIs) landscape and solutions.

Experience with complex bid and proposal processes that bring together multiple partners to formulate and submit winning proposals.

The right person will possess significant experience in sales and partner/business development.

Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives, both business and technical.

Track record of consistently exceeding quota and key performance metrics including sell-to/through/with partners motions.

Experience working effectively across different sales, business development and technical teams, bringing together a cross functional team to deliver results.
