Job Description

This position will ensure the processing of multiple payrolls in a timely manner and in accordance with State and Federal laws and Omni’s internal standards. Additional tasks include identifying inconsistencies, improvement opportunities, and quality assurance throughout the payroll process.

This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Process and distribute corporate and centralized hotel payroll for multiple locations

  • Enter and balance any manual earning and deductions, i.e. service charges, tips, meal deductions, bonuses and incentives, retroactive pay, etc.

  • Process all vacation, sick days, personal days, holiday pay, jury pay and bereavement pay adjustments

  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to payroll

  • Maintain neat and organized confidential files related to Payroll Administer all garnishment orders and verify each garnishment for accuracy every payroll.

  • Run monthly reports as required for month-end and tip reporting purposes.

  • Perform any other payroll-related functions as directed by the Director of Payroll or Payroll Manager

  • Be available to assist the corporate audit team and provide any/all requested payroll-related information

  • Must learn internal audit requirements and uphold standards on a consistent basis; adhering to standards as instructed by of Director of Payroll or Payroll Manager

  • Provide outstanding guest service to all associates

  • Provide field with payroll reports requested

  • Prepare and coordinate all old payroll files for storage

  • General office duties including routine correspondence, filing, copying and faxing

  • Train new paymasters using documented training materials

Qualifications

  • Prior payroll related experience

  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Good analytical abilities

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance

  • Excellent customer service skills
