We have an opening for a Payroll Lead through Robert Half. As the Payroll Lead, you will contribute in finalizing the accurate and timely production of payroll for employees. Job Description:

• Perform limited Workday and ADP Workforce Now administrative tasks.

• Process and balance payroll for up to 1200 employees.

• Process manual check processing.

• Create/analyze reports via Report Writer

• Process final termination pay based on company policy and state regulations.

• Enter payroll transactions into payroll system.

• Upload expenses and other transactions

• Recognize, research & recommend resolution for related issues.

• Help train new team members.

• Represent Payroll Department at meetings, training sessions, etc.

• Run payroll related reports for each payroll.

• Research, as needed, respond to internal/external inquiries.

• Perform complex payroll functions (garnishments, local taxes, etc.)

• Initiate manual checks, stop payments.

• Audit for compliance to internal/external labor laws and policies.

  Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree preferred

• Previous full cycle payroll experience 7+ years

• Previous leadership experience

• Workday experience

• Multi-state payroll experience

• Problem solving skills

• Experience with PC, Excel and Word

• Team player and able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
