Cartamundi Production Printing Manager in Dallas, Texas

The Printing Production Manager will be responsible to ensure that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly and increase organization’s efficiencies. The Production Manager will perform tasks such as taking inventory, making supply orders, handling disputes among team members and regularly assessing safety standards in all areas for a multi-million-dollar global account(s) for many of the world’s most popular playing Card Games, Trading Card Games, and Board Game brands in the world!

What you’ll do as a Printing Production Manager:

  • Formulate, recommend and implement manufacturing policies and programs which maintains and improves the company's competitive edge and the profitability of the operations.

  • Direct and coordinate those activities so that products are manufactured to specifications and on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives.

  • Assure that company objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements and company goals.

  • Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident- free

  • Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production

  • Ensure that all material and supplies are available for each production department's operation.

  • Ensure that production meetings occur and participate in other meetings required by management.

  • Review operating performance reports on a regular basis with supervisors.

  • Responsible for reducing spoiled-work and waste.

  • Conduct special projects as requested by management.

  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement

  • Identify, train, hire, and sustain talent.

    We’re looking for a Printing Production Manager with:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment and 2-year supervisory experience

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Printing experience, required

    Physical requirements and working conditions:

    Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:

  • Must be able stand and walk throughout shift, lift or move 35 pounds

  • Environment is climate controlled and indoors

  • This Printing Production Manager position is located on-site in our Dallas facility
