What you'll do

  • Guide Data Privacy & Governance program through the entire lifecycle. Maintain expert knowledge of data governance practices, concepts.

  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.

  • Responsible for coordinating activities and communicating the project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, knowledge management tools, and other department resources.

  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.

  • Work with other capability leads to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the Data Privacy & Governance product.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Ideate and manage new pilots, POCs, RFPs and programs based on strategic business needs.

  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

  • Define success metrics and track the evolution, adoption, and impact of the program, implementing improvements as needed.

  • Provide input to data policy and standards; data governance and management priorities; change management strategies and communication plans; and to the future composition, direction and roles of the data governance program and organizational framework.

  • Align data governance and management activities to facilitate data-driven decision making across the enterprise.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in program management.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 +years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

  • Prior experience in risk and compliance program management

  • Proficiency with linear software development life cycles and software development methodologies such as Agile (SAFe) and waterfall.

  • Experience with Privacy and/or Governance Program Management

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.

  • Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization

  • Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements and action items from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to foresee potential issues, devise contingency plans, and navigate complex organizational structures.

  • Aptitude for understanding, digesting and analyzing complex systems integration.

  • Ability to work some flexible hours due to varying time zones across

  • Experience in proposal writing

  • Demonstrate a curious and independent learning mindset
