US Anesthesia Partners Project Manager - Legal Operations in Dallas, Texas

Overview

The Project Manager – Legal Operations will be responsible for providing critical project management, technology management, and process improvement support for the Legal Department. This trusted individual will handle highly confidential matters, manage complex and time-sensitive projects, and interact frequently with executive leaders in the organization. This is a hybrid position and may be based in Nashville, Tennessee or Dallas, Texas. Periodic travel will be required.

At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in New York, California, Hawaii, or Alaska.

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Manages complex projects to completion and develops streamlined processes and tools to support the organization’s Legal Department.

· Develops and maintains key resources for the Legal Department in areas including records, systems, reports, processes, contacts, and training materials.

· Provides project management, tracking, and reporting for all phases of litigation.

· Works closely with the Chief Legal Officer and multiple staff attorneys to support specific projects as requested; provides support in areas including document drafting as well as management and maintenance of complex filing systems.

· Ensures proper execution of approved documents with electronic signature software.

· Schedules, plans , and coordinates both remote and in-person meetings.

· Attends offsite executive meetings as needed and provides related support including maintenance of official meeting minutes.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Prior legal department experience required.

  • Experience serving in a paralegal and/or legal operations role highly preferred.

  • Positive customer-service orientation and consistent professional demeanor.

  • Ability to work well with executives, other internal stakeholders, and external parties.

  • Proven experience preparing and presenting information to senior executives.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of critical projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of best practices for legal documentation and communications.

  • Ability to draft, review, and edit reports and correspondence.

  • Detail-oriented, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation rules.

  • Skill in gathering and reporting relevant information to legal and business audiences.

  • Advanced technology skills and ability to train others on systems including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and legal technology solutions.

  • Experience with contract management systems, electronic signature systems, and litigation management systems strongly preferred.

  • Enthusiasm for learning new technology and optimizing processes to increase efficiency.

  • Ability to learn key organizational policies, procedures, and systems quickly.

  • Knowledge of professional office management practices and administrative procedures.

  • Ability to work effectively and independently with limited supervision.

  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
