Certification(s) Required :

At least (1) of the following: CPC, CCS, CRC and ICD-10-CM

Required Knowledge and Skills :

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Understanding professional charge capture from patient access to billing;

  • Providing specialty specific education and training to physicians, clinicians and ancillary service areas;

  • Having an understating of EPIC/Cerner from an EHR perspective; and,

  • Performing documentation and coding assessments as well as understanding related billing practices including CPT-4 and ICD-10, medical procedures, and patient encounters by clinical service providers (physicians) and hierarchical condition category (HCC) coding.

  • Delivering significant healthcare provider and physician practice business results that utilizes strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative, and the following abilities: Leading project work streams, emphasizing the ability to build collaborative relationships with team members, and also work autonomously with little direction;

  • Communicating effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences; and,

  • Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data.

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
