Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join a large financial client in Dallas, TX. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the firm's Windows Desktop Services, with a focus on deploying custom software packages. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows migrations in an enterprise environment. The engineering team is tasked with completing a large-scale migration by 2026, with the pilot phase starting in Q1. In this role, you will work in a 90% VDI environment, managing over 100,000 devices. The team is focused on maintaining and managing the platform while developing custom services.

Skills and Requirements

-7+ years of experience working as a Systems Engineer within an enterprise environment

-Extensive experience writing and customizing PowerShell scripts from scratch

-In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems

-Proven experience with Windows OS migrations (Windows 10, Windows 11)

-Recent experience supporting VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)

-VMWare ESX to create and manage virtual machines -Experience working with Windows Desktop OS Build Image

-Knowledge of Citrix (creating/testing farms)

-Experience working with Citrix Cloud SaaS

-Financial Services industry experience

-Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certifications null
