Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the service industry for a Sr. Accountant in Dallas, Texas. This role involves a variety of responsibilities ranging from preparing consolidated financial statements to dealing with foreign currency accounting. It presents a contract to hire employment opportunity where the candidate will be expected to support and coordinate various financial operations and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements following US GAAP.

• Handle all necessary elimination entries to prevent double counting of revenue and expenses.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures including account reconciliations, account analysis, and the preparation of consolidated financial data.

• Address discrepancies due to fluctuating exchange rates through revaluations.

• Support and coordinate foreign currency translation and consolidation for subsidiaries.

• Use SAP system for recording, storing, and analyzing financial data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness through regular system checks.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors to support financial and internal control audits.

• Continually assess our internal control framework to identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Provide technical expertise, advice, and interpretations of accounting policy. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge and experience with SAP

• Familiarity with US GAAP is essential

• Experience in Consolidations is necessary

• Must possess knowledge in Foreign Currency Translation

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
