Description This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Partake in various department-wide initiatives
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Exceptional time management skills preferred
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
ERP system experience
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Great attention to detail
Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills
Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP
General familiarity with QuickBooks
Foundational knowledge in journal entries
Earlier work involving Salesforce Administration
CRM experience highly preferred
Background working with CRM
Budget forecasting experience
Practical knowledge of CRM
Proficiency in budgeting
Adeptness in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated knowledge of auditing
Good understanding of Data Analysis
Experience with general ledger
Prior work done in public accounting is desired
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
