Job Description

• Designs, modifies, and analyzes design circuits using the person and PADS

• Experience in analog design and expertise in digital design

• Creates or modifies wire harness and cable drawings, BOMs, and initial prototypes

• Creates, modifies PCB layouts, or submits design constraints to PCB layout designer

• Performs safety analysis and writes reports on new products

• Works with mechanical engineers to define design fit

• Collaborates with firmware engineers to debug and identify hardware or firmware issues

• Works with technicians to make design modifications and changes

• Performs failure analysis on production or customer units

• Tests and verifies the best-case solution for issues and writes ECNs to implement solutions

• Manages and strives to complete multiple design project tasks
