Texas Instruments System Engineer- Test & Measurement (System Engineering Marketing) in Dallas, Texas
About the Job:
Responsibilities may include :
Analyze test and measurement end equipment to identify future trendsand key customer design challenges
Definition and development of reference designs, and other system collaterals based ondesign challenges in an end equipment
H/W and potentially MCU/FPGA firmware development of the reference design
Collaborate with product lines to provide system level solution for top customer opportunities.
Track topbusinessopportunities of the end equipment, and define next steps partnering with sales team and business units to relentlessly drive new business wins
Assess and evaluate system requirements with customers
Provide end equipment training to sales organization and business units
Trouble-shootsystem levelcustomer issues by lab testing, schematic analysis,and other methods as necessary
Bring quick resolution to customerissuesby interfacing acrossdifferentbusiness units
Create technical literaturessuch as presentations, application notesand white papers to scale and position TI'sbrandin the market
Buildcloserelationships with customers/field teams to identify and solve system problems with TI solutions
Position will support Asia customers/salesteam (expect off hours/evening meetings

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years relevant experience with analog signal chain design
Preferred qualifications:
Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC's and their applications
Experience in system level circuit modeling using electronic design tools like ADS, SPICE, PCB design, and firmware for development of MCU/FPGA
Familiarity in test and measurement systems, especially high-speed instruments like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
Experience and deep understanding of Analog, PDN, and mixed-signal circuits.
Strong customer facing skills
Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
