Robert Half Project Manager Health and Wellness in Dalton, Georgia

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Project Manager to support a very large manufacturing company, located in Dalton, Georgia. The role will primarily involve enhancing the experience and engagement of internal employees, dealing with wellness initiatives, events, and working with various business partners and third-party vendors. This long term 6+ month contract employment opportunity will be based in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace where you will have the chance to manage high-profile projects and interact with various stakeholders.

Hours--8am-5pm Monday through Friday

Work Site: Initially on-site during training, then hybrid work in office 2 days per week and work from home 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute wellness initiatives.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, initiating, implementing, and monitoring changes while providing regular project updates.

• Develop and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and internal business partners, including Health & Wellness team, Medical Services, Risk Management, HR Operations, and staff level employees.

• Strategize and implement wellness initiatives with vendors to expand existing programs and develop new ones as needed.

• Ensure satisfactory performance is achieved and performance measures are met or exceeded through effective vendor management.

• Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and execute communication strategy for wellness initiatives.

• Assist in the development of wellness event content and coordinate vendor attendance for business partners.

• Use project management skills to understand requests, organize information, develop timelines, keep projects moving, pay attention to detail and communicate effectively.

• Utilize Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive for project initiation and execution.

• Conduct meetings effectively and prepare for team meetings, professional and informative responses to customers and vendors.

Requirements • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role within the Textile Manufacturing industry

• Proficient in Project Management and Process Improvement Projects

• Demonstrated Organizational capabilities are necessary

• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written are required

• Experience in Special Event Planning and Employee Engagement is a must

• Advanced knowledge in Project Initiation & Execution

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive

• Ability to Conduct Meetings productively and efficiently

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identify potential issues and provide solutions

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
