Aerotek Assembler in Danville, Kentucky

Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an Assembler, you will read and interpret blueprints and build sheets to assemble parts on weldments. You will use your mechanical ability, work instructions, and hand tools to assemble products. You will utilize test equipment when necessary and operate overhead cranes and lifting devices. Material handling and transportation of product are also key responsibilities. You will perform quality inspections and fill out necessary paperwork for record-keeping. Additionally, you will package and crate assembled products and load them for shipment.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NICHOLASVILLE, Kentucky.

Work Environment

Our Client manufactures industrial air filtration units for large facilities and heavy equipment. The facility is non-climate controlled but very clean, with mostly metal fabrication equipment including presses and weld areas. The work environment is non-automotive but fast-paced.
