Position Summary

As an Automated Inspection (Vision) SystemTechnician in CBN Secure Technologies Inc. (CBN STI)splantoperations group, you will be responsible for calibrating and optimizingthe Vision Systemproduction equipment software models that are used to inspectvarious secure polycarbonate documents(e.g.Virginias Driver Licenses and Identification (DL/ID) cards)in ourtemperature controlled, clean-room environment.

• Configure, calibrate,modify andoptimizeandvision(automated inspection)systems;
• Identifyvision system improvements that will improve operational efficiency and/or quality;
• Maintain daily logs of all work, complete shift reports, inspections forms, system change records, operation reports and checklists; and
• Various other duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

• College diplomain technical fieldoranequivalentcombination of education (high school, GED) andrelevantexperience(2+ years)
• Computer literacy
• Familiarity with quality control practices and methodologies is an asset, but not required
• Previous experience in the print industry is an asset, but not required
