Description:

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is looking for a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team!

Shift:

PRN per department needs. Weekends and holidays required.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist is responsible for day to day oversight of assigned patients and the provision of safe, high quality pharmaceutical care for patients across the health care continuum.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently in all or most pharmacist positions within this hospital.

Requirements:

  • Current State of Pennsylvania Pharmacy license in good standing

  • Authorization to Administer Injectables required within 120 days of hire

  • PharmD degree from an accredited institution

  • Two or more years of health-system pharmacy experience (or equivalent residency training) strongly preferred. One year of acute care (hospital) experience is preferred for this role.

  • Preferred: Experience with Pyxis MedStation, EPIC
