Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Davenport, Iowa. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up one or several machine tools and performing complex machining operations to fabricate a variety of parts to close tolerance. You will specialize in the operation of a limited number of machine tools such as those commonly found in tool rooms. Your role will also involve setting up and operating all common machine tools, carrying through to completion any machine shop assignment in the construction and repair of all kinds of metal parts and machines. You will be using detailed drawings, verbal orders, or broken or worn parts as a pattern to fabricate new parts.

Work Environment

Our work environment is clean and very organized. You will be working on the assembly and servicing of large machines that make sausage wrappers and k-cups. The work schedule is a 1st shift, from 7:00am - 3:00pm. Please note that while on contract, the candidate can only work 36 hours, with no overtime or weekends.
