Job Summary

Barrett Paving Materials Inc., Internship program is designed to educate the candidate (current college student) about the different aspects of accounting in the aggregate business.

Main Responsibilities

• Learn the total accounting process by shadowing employees

• Participate in month end closings

• Data entry into various accounting systems

• Work closely with the accounting staff to determine solutions to common issues

Skills

• Basic math skills with ability to calculate and analyze data

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Good organizational skills

• The ability to work well with all levels of the organizations

• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible

Education

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program such as Accounting or Finance
