Community Blood Center CNC Specialist - Second Shift in Dayton, Ohio

Because we believe that everyone deserves more time to live life to its fullest. 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Starting pay is $18.00 + 10% 2nd shift differential CNC Specialists: Ensure all Specialty CNC allograft tissue is accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner. Accurately measure, label and package tissue grafts. Document all processing activities completely and accurately. In conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, CNC vertical milling machines, CNC 2-axis lathes, and vacuum sealers. Accurately monitor time-sensitive processes regarding allograft tissue manufacturing. Complete assigned tasks in the CNC processing area in a timely manner. Adhere to all safety guidelines, training and policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Opportunities to join various employee committees Required High School diploma or equivalent required. Requires heavy lifting, moderate to continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding. Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields. Knowledge of medical terminology, processing anatomy and sterile techniques is preferred. Must be able to work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions. Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control. Requires good eye-hand coordination skills. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation. Desired Qualifications: Associates degree in related field preferred. Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred. Prior CNC experience preferred. Previous experience in a tissue bank, sterile medical environment, or manufacturing environment preferred.
