Join Staffmark for an exciting opportunity as a Operator in Vandalia, OH, where you'll be part of a team specializing in sustainable plastic packaging. Pay: $18 - $22 per hour Shifts Available: Days or Nights (12-hour rotating shifts) Main Responsibilities: Manage overall line operations from production to packaging Start and stop the machine as required Perform parison controls and monitor material control Conduct regular quality control checks and visual inspections Prepare the machine for mold changes Ensure correct quantity and quality of goods produced, recording any issues encountered Assist Machine Operator II/Shift Supervisor/Mold Change Team with mold/color changes as needed Foster teamwork and maintain good housekeeping in and around the machine Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred Basic computer skills Demonstrated mechanical ability This role requires standing, walking, reaching, and occasional climbing or balancing. You'll also frequently use your hands, stoop, kneel, or crawl. Lifting up to 50 lbs may be necessary. We appreciate your hard work and dedication!
