Dayton Children's Hospital Contracts Specialist in Dayton, Ohio

Facility:Work From Home - OhioDepartment:ProcurementSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:We’re looking for a highly resourceful individual to remotely support contract administrative operations at Dayton Children’s Hospital. Individual will be responsible for daily management of the contract inbox, following up on outstanding contract related tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.

The Contract Specialist is also responsible for

• Maintaining contract repository including acquiring proper documents, signatures, data entry, managing addendums and expirations by collaborating with key stakeholders and functional contract owners.

• Monitor new or proposed contracts, price agreements, MSA’s, etc. for DCH-acceptable terms and conditions. Escalate possible discrepancies in acceptable legal language

• Monitor and maintain group purchasing (GPO) contract enrollments, tier assignments, expirations and communicate opportunities, increases and aggregations to department stakeholders.

• Issuing purchase orders off existing contracts via ERP system as requested

• Provide general support including departmental communication, documentation, data collection and verification research, data collection and verification as it relates to procurement, contracts or supply chain systems.

• Managing vendor onboarding documents.

The Contracts Specialist will work cross functionally, with all departments and leadership levels and should posses core strengths such as critical thinking, confidence, problem solving, analytical in nature, attention to detail, advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Department Specific Job Details:

Shift

  • M-F 8am-5pm

  • No weekends or holidays

Experience

  • 3+ years relevant contract or healthcare supply chain experience preferred

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday Procurement and Contract modules preferred

  • Above average proficiency of standard business operating systems such as SharePoint, Chrome, and Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Slide preferred

Education Requirements:

Associates, High School (Required)

Certification/License Requirements:

[Cert] CMRP: Certified Materials & Resource Professional - American Hospital Association Certification Center
