Dayton Children's Hospital Critical Care Pharmacist - Evening in Dayton, Ohio

Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Clinical PharmacySchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:The Critical Care Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapy to patients in the Emergency Department (ED), Newborn Intensive Care (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This pharmacist will respond to traumas in the ED and codes throughout the hospital. This pharmacist will be responsible for performing and overseeing the medication reconciliation process at the patient’s admission transition point from the ED. This pharmacist will be responsible for attending evening PICU rounds to collaborate with the patient care teams to improve patient care outcomes and safety through clinical recommendations and interventions.

Department Specific Job Details:

Shift: Evening shift (7-on/7-off)

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy OR Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy

Licensure: Eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Ohio required. Must be obtained prior to start date.

Years of Experience:

-PGY1 residency training at a children’s hospital OR

-PGY2 pediatric residency trained OR

2 years of hospital experience
