JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a person who can effectively manage relationships with existing distributors and cultivate relationships with new distributors (VAR -- value-added resellers) to expand market coverage in geographies where we are underrepresented. It is important that this individual understand the purchase decision process with financial institutions, of all sizes, for ATM and other related products. This position will be responsible for educating distributors and end users on the company's value proposition, and for coordinating with other internal company resources to identify sales opportunities and move them through the sales process to an effective close. This position carries a revenue quota and a successful individual in this role will consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Define and execute a territorial sales strategy to meet sales and margin targets for region.
  • Develop territory sales plan and prospect new opportunities in target markers to promote full product line.
  • Manage existing distributor relationships
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to increase brand awareness and create product demand
  • Identify market opportunities and growth areas within sales channels
  • Educate, motivate and empower distributors to compete and win.
  • Act as the liaison between distributors and internal cross-functional teams
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist with sales through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Complete weekly, monthly and annual reports for management review of progress.
  • Maintain and update an online program of each partner sales prospect to be used for equipment forecasting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of sales and/or business development experience
  • Salesforce experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior banking or similar type sales position
  • Strong closing skills; Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers
  • Strong track record of over achievement against assigned quota
  • Proven success selling high-value conceptual services to retail or financial executives
  • Excel at "hunting" and closing new business against industry competitors, overcoming resistance to change and developing advisor based relationships
