Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the team! Your Responsibilities: Accounting for Healthcare Customer Rebates and Variable Sales pay (Commissions). Maintain Account Assignment structure for the organization. Work closely with IT team for continued refinement of Account Assignment optimization process. Analyze, summarize and report financial performance, KPI'sand trends for operating companies and corporate shared services. Assist with Return on Investment and Customer Profitability Reporting on a monthly basis. Understand business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business counsel to support accounting, finance, business units, shared services and other project teams across the enterprise. Perform various accounting tasks related to customer invoicing, month/year end, and preparation of financial reports. Provide business/financial analysis and decision support that allows managementtoevaluate alternatives, make fact-based decisions, and evaluate the consequences of decisions. Identify and develop areas of the organization that can benefit from process improvement and automation. Perform month end financial close activities including preparation and/or review of variety of journal entries, reconciliations, analysis and reporting. Perform special projectsand ad-hoc analysesas needed. You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related major. Demonstrated ability to evaluate business processes in a broad context. Possess apositive,consultative mindset that promotes improvements in operating effectiveness, efficiency and net income. Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate withcross-functional teams atalllevels of staff andmanagement. The ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under tight timeframes. Self-starter who can manage projects, analyze areas of greatest risk and review with business partner. Ability toprepareexecutive-levelsummaries, conclusions and recommendationsbased ondetailed data.Equally as adept at searching, cleansing and compiling the necessary detailed data from multiple systems and sources. Ability to get results; canproactively and autonomously drive initiatives and projects from start to finish. Team player that thrives in both leader and individual contributor assignments. Highly curious; strong analytical andproblem-solving skills and ability to drive issues to resolution. PC literate with a proficiency in exceland model building. We Would Also Prefer: Excellent analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated communication and organization skills. Strong desire to learn and add value. Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential.
