The Full Stack Software Developer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This project offers the ability to work in an office/remote hybrid format with a team of highly-skilled engineers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new capabilities
- Resolve issues found in existing code
- Integrate capabilities with external services and tools
- Participate in code reviews and mentor team members
- Communicate status and technical details with customer
Required Skills
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Ability to communicate technical details of work
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
- Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and 3+ years of experience; or 7+ years of experience in a software developer role in lieu of degree.
- Experience with RESTful web services
- Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Golang, NodeJS, and/or Python
- Experience with modern frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular, React, and/or Vue
- Experience with Docker (containerized deployment)
- Experience with version control software (ex Git)
- Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA
Desired Experience
- Full Stack Developer Bootcamp Certificate
- Experience with Kubernetes / HELM
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins
- Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
- Secret Security Clearance or higher
