.NET Software Engineer ID 2024-1903 Job Locations US Workplace Type Remote Overview As a member of the Woolpert Digital Innovations team, the .NET Software Engineer provides hands-on engineering for our client mobility projects, such as rideshare, food delivery and last mile solutions. This position is client facing and focused on successful project delivery including developing technical solutions, hands-on coding and testing in an agile/scrum environment, collaborating during discovery activities, assisting delivery teams through implementation, and production go-live. As part of the mobility team, the position often works with Google engineers to help clients adopt new mobility platforms. You will be on the front line of developing solutions using new Google mobility platforms. Responsibilities Perform client and project discovery activities to understand business and technical requirements. Key member of the engineering mobility team, working with client engineering teams, customer engineers, solutions architects, front-end developers, and mobile app developers to drive successful project delivery for our clients. Write code: implement and test code using software engineering best practices. As needed develop prototypes and working demos to be used during client presales and discovery. Understand and implement DevOps best practices and tools. Follow agile/scrum methodologies and best practices. Work closely with the Cloud Solutions Architect and Technical Project Manager to drive successful delivery of client projects and establish repeatable processes and best practices in a professional services organization. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in software engineering role 2+ years of experience with .NET development .NET Core development experience in an enterprise environment MongoDB development experience integrating with .NET Core Demonstrated proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Python, Java, NodeJS/ES6, etc). Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile software development methodologies and tools related to team software development (e.g., Git, Jira, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Google Cloud Platform experience, project and security setup and configuration Understand how to create, manage and develop with GCP service accounts Professional services experience, designing and delivering large enterprise solutions Cloud-native application development Google Maps Platform development experience, e.g. Google Maps APIs Front end development experience using Angular/Typescript Unique Benefits Certified as a Great Place to Work, Woolpert is one of the fastest growing architecture, engineering, and geospatial (AEG) companies in the world.
