Job Number: R0210871 Network Administrator The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network our Air Force client needs. As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in system interoperability, OSI model, server and network application administration to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll develop specialized infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in administration, routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, and system interoperability as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies]. Your knowledge of network equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Cryptographic equipment, software and hardware firewalls, Cisco hardware, Palo Alto firewalls, cloud migration, and SolarWinds], you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions. You Have: 5+ years of experience with supporting network switching and routing Experience with administering network devices such as firewalls and gateways Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues, including software applications Knowledge of network monitoring tools, including SolarWinds or Splunk TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Security+ Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with applying DoD STIGs for network devices Experience in configuring and troubleshooting encryption devices Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments Ability to create and manage network support documentation Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems CCNA or CCNP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
