As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in system interoperability, OSI model, server and network application administration to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll develop specialized infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your expertise in administration, routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, and system interoperability as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies]. Your knowledge of network equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Cryptographic equipment, software and hardware firewalls, Cisco hardware, Palo Alto firewalls, cloud migration, and SolarWinds], you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. You Have: 5+ years of experience with supporting network switching and routing Experience with administering network devices such as firewalls and gateways Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues, including software applications Knowledge of network monitoring tools, including SolarWinds or Splunk TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Security+ Certification Nice If You Have: Experience with applying DoD STIGs for network devices Experience in configuring and troubleshooting encryption devices Experience working in SAPF and SCIF environments Ability to create and manage network support documentation Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber, or Information Systems CCNA or CCNP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
