Actalent Project Controls Analyst in Dayton, Ohio

Actalent Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Controls Analyst to support the local utility on their CapEx Project Development and Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining aspects of Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and future project development. This role requires a strong understanding of budget and portfolio management, particularly within the utility space.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and experience within a $12.7B company on the forefront of project development while working a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree in Engineering, Business, Finance. MBA is a plus

  • 3-5 years in budget and/or portfolio management. (preferably within utility space)

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 tools required. Experience with SAP and Copperleaf C55 are a plus

  • Established knowledge of project management practices

  • Experience in making presentations to upper management

  • Utilize data analytics tools to enhance CapEx decision making

  • Prior experience with planning of project analytics

  • Prior Utility Asset Management exp a plus
