Active Balance Physical Therapy LLC Physical Therapist in Dayton, Wyoming

Active Balance Physical Therapy is currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, and ailments improve their movement, manage their pain, and prevent loss of mobility.

Who We Are: We are a small, outpatient PT practice located in beautiful Dayton, Wyoming. We have built a reputation on skilled manual therapy, one-on-one care and community. We look at and treat the whole body to improve daily function. We treat a wide variety of patients, from seniors, athletes to cowboys, and everyone in between.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The PT is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and establishing, implementing and overseeing appropriate custom plans of care for these individuals in order to restore and maximize their function and quality of life.
  • Establish appropriate and realistic short- and long-term functional goals with the patient.
  • Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
  • Recording patients' progress and modifying the plan of care if needed.
  • Communicate effectively and on a regular basis with patients, caregivers and fellow healthcare team members to promote optimal healthcare delivery and progress toward the patient's functional goals.
  • Educating patients, community and businesses on what physical therapy has to offer.
  • Willing to do community outreach to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education to evolve therapy skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a nationally accredited school of physical therapy program.
  • Maintain current State of Wyoming licensure through the State Board of Physical Therapy or be eligible to sit for the Wyoming State PT Exam.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Willing to help expand business and take on new programs
