See Our Benefits Snapshot JOB OVERVIEW As the Chief Safety Officer at Robinson, you will play a crucial role in developing the strategic deployment of Robinsons safety culture. This will be done through deployment of our policies and practices. The CSO must exhibit a personal commitment to safety and be a passionate advocate for the safety of our workforce and key stakeholders. The CSO will be responsible for policy development, management, and oversight of Robinson\'s Safety Programs. They will develop a progressive and proactive vision of safety across the organization translating the safety vision into strategy and providing guidance and direction to managers on program implementation, government regulations, reporting requirements, and standards of practice in five safety areas: Fabrication Safety, Operational Safety, Safety Certification, Employee Health and Safety, and Public Safety. The CSO ensures that a safety culture exists in all decision-making to guarantee the safety of our employees, contractors, key stakeholders, and the communities we serve. They work as a partner with other agency organizations, contractors, and consultants to assist in driving safety culture. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the implementation of all organizational safety management policies. Create clarity within the department and throughout the organization. Drive performance by actively leading and managing culture. Establish and maintain safety reporting metrics that drive change. Regular reporting to the Director and Executive management level of KPI\'s Provide proactive risk assessment as well as co-lead benefit/risk assessment with operating functions.
