ST NORBERT COLLEGE Receiving and Storeroom Coordinator in DE PERE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: St. Norbert College, a nationally-ranked, private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking a Receiving and Storeroom Coordinator. This position is responsible for the delivery, stocking and checking in of food and supply orders to the Dining Services department. This position is also responsible for managing rotation and recipe inventory for Dining Services. Specific responsibilities: Receives, shelves and secures all orders in compliance with state, local food safety regulations, and St. Norbert College Dining Service policies. Responsible for cross referencing all food and supply orders received with corresponding invoice upon check in for approximately \$2 million in annual purchases. Delivers goods (food, paper, supplies) from the central commissary kitchen to two retail operations, conference center and hotel operation. - 40% Organizes all recipes for both meal plan and catering operations. Works in partnership with AM Sous Chef to plan implementation of recipes into upcoming menu cycles. As needed, may assist kitchen personnel with food preparation. - 20% Maintain the first in/first out system of rotating inventory in all dining services coolers and freezers. - 10% Maintain cleanliness of all storerooms, coolers, freezers, catering storage carts, and delivery vehicles. - 10% Assists the Purchaser in shelf counting for par stocks and regular inventories. Maintains shelf tags and inventory planograms. - 10% Provides on the job training and functional oversight of student stock clerks. - 5% Documents temperature readouts of all coolers/freezers and cooler/freezer monitoring system. - 5% Perform additional duties as assigned and attend College required training. Regular attendance is required. Work in a manner that is aware of personal safety and the safety of others and observe safety, health and sanitation codes, regulations, or practices required by the College or governmental authority. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and Credentials - Food Service Sanitation Certificate or ability to obtain upon 90 days of hire. 1-2 years food service experience. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert College. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to interact professionally with coworkers and customers, particularly in conflict situations. Ability to interact politely and resolve customer service issues. Ability to multitask, meet specific deadlines, and prioritize tasks and assignments. Skilled in basic math computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Apps) and ability to learn upgrades and new programs as needed. Ability to exercise good judgment and decisions in an expeditious manner. Ability to concentrate and focus in a noisy environment. Ability to pass a post offer functional capacity test.
