JOB OVERVIEW The Supervisor will be responsible for providing leadership support to the team and performing various tasks needed to help ensure that schedules are met safely. The Supervisor will be responsible for developing and leading a cross-functioning support team that services the organization with the best interests of the internal and external customer in mind. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Implement and maintain all safety procedures in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Ensure all employees are practicing safe work methods and complying with OSHA and company standards. Inform Management of any equipment, performance, product quality, safety, and employee relations issues. Communicate with various departments within the plant to ensure smooth and efficient operations for internal and external customers. Guide and instruct the team on day-to-day activities; assign all jobs and tasks. Maintain good relationships within the team and throughout the organization. Motivate, recognize, and coach through candid conversations relating to safety, quality, production, attitude, or other performance related topics. Arrange necessary materials, tools etc. for getting things accomplished efficiently. Through engagement and caring, help to maintain a positive company culture. Accountable for the schedule and ensuring customer needs are being met. Understand what makes Robinson successful and direct action for improvement. Evaluate and lead process change within the Shipping Receiving & Material Handling team as well as throughout the organization. Take ownership in the development of processes and procedures to increase material flow and on time delivery to internal and external customers. Work with Project Managers to ensure customers\' expectations are met. Responsible for the accuracy of the receipts, shipments, and all other transactions in the ERP system, including rectifying discrepancies in a timely manner while providing feedback and training to teammates causing inaccuracies.
