Job Description

This Plant Layout Engineer will be a part of the Battery Manufacturing Team supporting BlueOval SK Plant in Marshall Michigan. The role will start working in Dearborn Michigan 3 days a week August 2024 -- June 2025. They will then work 5-7 days per week in Marshall Michigan so depending on location, travel will be involved and will be expensed. This Battery plant is in construction phase and will be needing over 10,000 pieces of equipment to be installed. They will lead layout and CAD deliverable working with multiple teams to obtain necessary information and issue resolution. This engineer will be responsible for supporting the coordination and design of where, how and when the equipment will be installed. Much of the role will involve working directly with joint ventures communicating issue resolution and coordinating the equipment installation.

Skills and Requirements

* Highly functional with 2D and 3D AutoCAD (building, facilities, equipment, piping, utilities, process flow)

* Industrial facilities / operations experience

* Able to work on-site in Dearborn, MI 3 days a week August 2024 -- June 2025 + Marshall, MI 5-7 days a week starting July 2024 -- July 2025) -- travel will be expensed

* Ability to lead layout and CAD deliverables, working with multiple teams to obtain necessary information and resolve issues.

* Highly motivated, self-driven with strong communication skills null
