In this position...

As a Resource Planning Analyst, you will join the team responsible for managing the Planisware system for Resource Planning. You will be expected to contribute to driving efficiency and data quality through automated testing, system configuration modifications, and cross-functional interactions (PD, IT, Finance). We are looking for an Analyst with the desire to learn new skills in the Resource, Planning and Workload space and become an expert in Planisware.

This is a hybrid opportunity, and the team normally is onsite Monday- Wednesday at our Product Development Center in Dearborn, MI

What you'll do...

  • The Resource Planning Analyst will support the triage of production issues and conduct thorough testing of new releases.

  • Investigate and resolve technical issues in Planisware.

  • Lead the documentation of business requirements into actionable tasks for IT.

  • Support the maintenance and development of our interfaces.

  • Back-up of the administration maintenance in Planisware.

  • Support Planisware user access and security.

  • Develop knowledge in all areas of Resource, Staffing and Workload. Document test scripts and automated testing.

  • Maintain documentation of requirements, testing, and training documentation

  • Collaborate with end-users and developers

  • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills

  • Participates in testing and validating software changes in QA

  • Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility

  • Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers

  • Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers

  • Utilize analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories

  • Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation

  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualization

  • Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements

  • Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Resource Planning Analyst or similar Analyst role.

  • 1 + years of Excel experience

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree

  • Planisware experience

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • SQL query experience

  • Software development experience

  • Software Automation Testing

  • Logical and efficient, with keep attention to detail

  • Highly self-motivated and directed

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Strong management and organizational skills

  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
