In this position…

The Vehicle Merchandising Assistant Manager is responsible for deeply understanding customer needs and optimizing the presentation, organization, and promotion of vehicles throughout Ford.com to deliver an easy and outstanding shopping experience to meet customer needs during the path to purchase. This role will provide collaborative leadership with our Business Partners, Software Product Managers, Analytics and Research teams, as well as lead an agency team to execute merchandising strategies and tactics.

This is a hybrid opportunity in our Wagner West and World Headquarters locations and the team normally is onsite 3 days/ week.

What you'll do..

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on vehicle shopping patterns and customer needs. Gains a deep understanding of current and evolving trends, competitive activity, and technology advancement to inform strategies and tactics

  • Collaborate with team members (Business, UX, Product) to translate business goals and end user needs into strategy and tactics to execute that deliver value

  • Drives business value by using web analytics and behavioral data into actionable insights to enhance sales, conversion, customer satisfaction, and task completion across Ford.com

  • Using data, clearly identifies and communication pros, cons, issues, obstacles, and dependencies for new capabilities and ideas to stakeholders.

  • Formulate and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing

  • Implement strategies and tactics including but not limited to: Brand, Content, SEO, site search, customer way-finding, personalization tools, vehicle promotions.

You'll have.

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and work experience

  • 3+ years of digital experience with working knowledge of website development, platforms, analytics, and customer experience design

  • 3 + years of eCommerce merchandising strategies and tactics experience including: Brands, Content, internal/external search, customer way-finding, leveraging personalization tools.

  • 1+ year(s) of experience with Adobe Suite of Products – including AEM, Target, Analytics or similar products

Even better, you may have…

  • Master’s Degree

  • Experience in Automotive industry, Retail Merchandising, CX testing

  • Analytics and CX testing experience including multi-variant A/B testing products and improving tests

  • Optimazation experience across external consumer-facing websites.

  • Ability to break down complex tasks or requirements into simpler, more manageable tasks

  • Experience communicating with and influencing business, functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Analytical skills with great attention to detail and the ability to drive results-oriented decisions

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
