Job Description for water manage attribute engineer.

Vehicle engineering position with growth potential for a highly motivated individual. A career opportunity on the vehicle integration attribute team that is responsible to meet critical requirements and deliver best-in-class vehicles to customers. Position includes identifying issue early with digital and/or physical tests, and leading cross function teams to resolve cross system issues.

Position Duties:

  • Lead vehicle program team to meet water management (WM) requirements such as water wading, car wash, water run-off, under hood water management and so on

  • Conduct CAD checks to ensure early design meet the water management requirements

  • Conduct vehicle level tests to sign off vehicle programs during vehicle prototype phase.

  • Lead cross functional team to resolve issues identified during CAD checks or physical tests

  • Present attribute status at vehicle program milestones

  • Identify root cause and resolve water related quality issues

  • Understand customer's expectation, document lesson learned, improve process and revise requirements as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.

• 2-5 years in automotive engineering, including internships.

• Passion and Knowledge: Strong enthusiasm for cars and/or trucks, with a solid understanding of their systems.

• Leadership and Independence: Proven leadership abilities, capable of working independently and managing complex issues.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly create presentations that highlight key points.

• Experience in cross-functional leadership, project management, and systems engineering is a plus

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
