**Residential Installer

Reports to: General Manager *Travel: Yes *Location: Decatur, AL

**MISSION

Installers are responsible for multiple tasks involving the take down and/or installation of residential doors.

[Essential Duties and Responsibilities:]{segoe="" ui",sans-serif"=""}

• Perform daily service/installation of work orders.
• Transport material and Technicians to jobsites via company truck
• Determine if added work needs to be performed and the measures needed to ensure approved installation of product.
• Maintain appropriate parts inventory in the vehicle to ensure that items are available for service/installation work.
• Track and maintain job related paperwork.
• Keep company truck clean and organized at all times.
• Must be able to work as a team with little to no supervision.
• Operate in a safe conscious manner at all times.
• Able to work at heights and use a ladder.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service and advice.

• Valid Alabama Drivers License with no major violations in the last 3 years
• Ability to use small tools
• Able to lift >50lbs on a regular basis
• Basic mechanical skills
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot the technical instructions
• Previous experience installing rolling steel and sectional commercial doors

Position type: This is a full-time position, scheduled to work Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm. Hours may change based on the business need.
