Probe Manager, AS&O – Decatur, IL

This is an exempt level position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively managing inbound grain trucks and truck flows. They will work in a fast paced environment and will be responsible for managing the relationship between customers, external partners and internal teams. Representatives will have exposure to scheduling, inventories and logistics management.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with commercial teams and NAPI (North American Processor Inspection) to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Address issues with customer data input at the probe location

  • Address IT issues that come up with inbound grains

  • Coordinate IP and Resource soybean runs with the operations teams & commercial teams

  • Monitor inbound IP and Resource runs to ensure compliance of inbound specialty beans

  • Team up with ADM Originators, Commercial trading team and ADM elevators to execute the strategy around specialty campaigns

  • Manage grain flow from the probe to the respective plants by utilizing the holding area and guard on site

  • Work with operations and commercial team to create process improvements for truck wait times and customer experiences

  • Keep organized records of executed inbound deliveries

  • Know, follow and enforce all safety standards, regulations, and company policies and promote a strong safety culture

Experience:

  • Associates degree or equivalent higher education/work experience

  • Strong working knowledge of office PC hardware and software systems

Job Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, MS Outlook

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet specific deadlines

  • Interpersonal skills with desire to be a team member

  • Effective oral and written communication

  • High performer with initiative to learn other responsibilities
