Professional Security Officer - Full Time

Location: Decatur, IL

Rate: $17.50-$19.00/HR

Most available shifts for open positions will include combination of 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shift and will include weekends, and holidays.

Monday thru Friday and/or day shift positions are generally not available.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois

  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required . (All our positions will include driver certification)

  • Have reliable working communication device (cell phone)

  • Have reliable transportation (private transportation is required) (No public transportation is available)

  • Willing to participate in the Company's Security Officer pre-employment screening process, including drug screen (mouth swab and/or urinalyses are used) and background investigation (drug screen includes THC)

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six month

  • Average to above average computer skills

  • Have the legal right to work in the United States

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

  • Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic

  • Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication

  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus

  • Customer service background preferred

  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner

  • Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift

  • Must have great attention to detail

  • Must be comfortable conducting access control duties
