We want you to become a part of our team tackling some of the toughest hydroelectric and heavy industrial projects while enjoying the less hectic atmosphere of the region to enjoy family and friends in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of the U.S. HEAVY HAUL TRUCK DRIVER The Heavy Haul Truck Driver is responsible for the safe loading, unloading, and transport of heavy equipment to and from remote jobsites. Overtime required as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These duties are those typically performed in this position. Employee may not perform all the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties. Comply with all DOT regulations and rules, including daily inspections, driver logs, oversize loads and permits Safely load and unload heavy equipment for transport; follow all safety requirements to ensure equipment is properly secured Ensure all proper permits and documentation is on hand during travel Determine most efficient route for travel based on load weight, road, and traffic conditions Complete deliveries per shipping manifest, provide status updates to Shop Supervisor, and complete bill of lading as required Report any delays in the pickup or delivery of equipment due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions, or other emergencies Maintain company truck and trailer appearance and mechanical condition, performs minor servicing and repairs, schedule major repairs as necessary Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures and standards Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties.
