We want you to become a part of our team tackling some of the toughest hydroelectric and heavy industrial projects while enjoying the less hectic atmosphere of the region to enjoy family and friends in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of the U.S. QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER The QC Manager maintains and performs all daily QC responsibilities, ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with the established minimum standards. The QC Manager provides direct oversight and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the work flow process. The QC Manager works as part of a team (Project Managers, Superintendents) along with other personnel to produce and document a quality product. This position requires frequent travel to various job sites for extended periods of time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES These duties are those typically performed in this position. Employee may not perform all the listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties. Perform daily work inspections, draft accurate complete daily reports Maintain Daily Reports Check submittals prior to submission Schedules direct testing and site inspections in compliance with contract specifications Schedule QC testing with appropriate advance notice to governmental entities Conduct materials and equipment inspections including proper storage and storage facilities Maintain ongoing communications with USACE QC representatives regarding all QC efforts ensuring awareness and correction of deficiencies Stop all sire work should deficiencies or contractual noncompliance occur Conduct DFOW preparatory meetings in compliance with CQC plan Maintain contractor prepared punch list Attend completion inspections utilizing contractor punch lists Attend final acceptance inspections as scheduled by governmental entities Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization Performs other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties. 5+ years' experience in construction industry QC and/or federal government construction projects and/or a combination of a degree in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering Experience with generator units, digital governors or spillways is desired COE CQM Training Certificate preferred
