Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a full stack engineer to join their team to work on browse. Mostly front end working with React, but have knowledge of Node. This developer will be working on browse of company's website. This role supports Web & API development of this company's critical retail business especially Browse and Shopping experience areas of Digital Commerce. This team member will be working with other engineers, product and the Ux team in a scrum agile environment and will be responsible for deliverables in the browse area. Browse/Shopping experience is an important functionality and serves as an entry point for customer shopping experience in retail business. This area comprises of several react/NodeJs microservices and few Java/Springboot microservices. But majority of FE is maintained using ReactJS. This role is responsible for understanding requirements from product, develop, test and deploy the respective changes to production. This role needs collaboration and engagement with other parts of retail area like cart, checkout, mobile app areas.

Skills and Requirements

-5-7 of years of development experience - Front end developer, building the pages interacting with the APIs

-React JS- front end- react is the most important

-Node JS - backend - they are using 18 (okay for anything about 11)

-Unit Testing Frameworks

-Docker

-Jenkins

-AKS (or similar)

-ExpressJs

-Mongo DB

-Rest API's

-Azure Cloud, but open to other cloud experience

-Worked on Microservices

-Worked on customer facing application, understanding what the customer says. -Retail experience is a plus null
