Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description: Deerfield High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students with diverse learning needs and committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students’ needs are met.

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and group settings.

• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Wisconsin DPI Teaching License in Special Education.

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Previous experience working with high school students with special needs.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
